What do I Need to Tell Totally Clean so you can Quote?

Do you Clean Furnished Houses?

Yes, it’s like cleaning an office which we have experience in also. It inevitably takes longer to clean rather than a vacant property but it’s part of our service.

Do you Clean Wooden Floors?

Yes, wooden floors are cleaned as part of the end of lease cleaning service. We sweep and mop hardwood floors and only if requested, do we wax and polish as this is an additional cost and takes extra time. Depending on the condition of your wooden floors you may not require the additional wax and polish.

Do you Clean the Bathroom and Kitchen Tiles?

Yes, we certainly do. What’s important to tell us prior is if your grout is discoloured or your tiles are in poor condition. When the grout and tiles are in poor condition we need to pressure clean them and this is expensive and would need to be included at the end of the lease quote.

Do you Clean Windows?

We clean the inside of windows and only clean the outside on request.

Do you Clean the Balconies?

Yes, as part of the end of lease cleaning we do clean balconies but please request this when we quote you.

Do you Clean Ovens and Stoves?

Yes, this one is often something that people loathe to do when moving out. We provide this as part of the Melbourne suburbs bond back cleaning. Please let us know the condition of your oven and stove top so we can quote accordingly.

Do you Clean Fridges?

When you move out, generally the fridge will be gone before we arrive but if you need your fridge cleaned then please specify this when we are quoting you for any cleaning work you require as it is considered additional.

How Much Notice do you Require to Book a Cleaning Job?

It’s always best to give us as much time as possible as our staff can get quite busy. It’s good to plan ahead, so if you are vacating and once you know you are moving, book your cleaning job asap for after your removalist has been and when you think your property will be vacant. Make sure it is before your lease expires so you give us time to make sure we have time to clean the property as needed.

One-off cleans or spring cleans also require as much notice as possible as they take longer than a regular clean.

Do you offer a Bond Back Guarantee for End of Lease Cleaning?

We help you get your bond back. If the state of the property is poor and unable to be cleaned (ie, rodents, food on walls, maggots in cupboards) we won’t clean it but it is rare that this is the case. You’ll need to be aware that you are required to leave a rental reasonably clean; taking into consideration reasonable wear and tear.

What if my Real Estate Agent Complains about the Cleaning?

Within reason, Totally Clean Company will go back and clean those things itemized by the estate agent, and originally quoted by us, at no extra cost. In order for this to happen the following is required:

  • The property is checked within 48 hours of the clean and any complaints are submitted to us within that 72 hour period
  • You must email a list of what needs additional cleaning and give us a day’s notice
  • The invoice is paid in full and on time by you.
